Alnham is a hamlet situated on the boundry of the National Park and is the perfect location to get away from it all.
Stepping out into the Northumberland National Park or joining route 68 cycle route at the end of the drive offers great opportunities for walkers and cyclists alike, we will be happy to drop you off in Northumberland National Park allowing you to walk back home. A slow cooked meal can be ready simmering in the kitchen for your return, just ask.
Try other wonderful days out to the coast visiting our castles of Bamburgh, Lindisfarne, Dunstanburgh, Alnwick and its Gardens, or to The Farne Islands to see the bird sanctuary and seals. You may want to head inland to Hadrian’s Wall, Kielder Reservoir and Observatory, or even drive or catch the train north to Edinburgh for the day! Guests have exclusive use of their own walled garden where you can relax in comfortable garden chairs and take in the view of the Cheviot Hills within the National Park.
Visitors wishing to be on one level can take advantage of our new extra king bedroom with large shower en suite facilities all on the ground floor at a discounted price for 2 people.
All holidays will include linen. Logs and coal are also available for your stay. This is a no smoking cottage and well behaved dogs are allowed upon request.
